3John Kortink’s electronic globe application !EarthMap

3It's an application that takes the digital data as supplied by
3the CIA, yes the CIA, and is able to show this data as a map of
3any part of the world.  This data includes rivers, canals,
3sandbanks, islands, lakes, glaciers and USA state lines to name
3a few.  This data is then converted in to a draw file that can
3be saved and printed.  A word of warning some of these drawfiles
3can be quite big.  1meg plus.

3The purpose of Project Gutenberg is to encourage the creation
3and distribution of English language electronic texts.  Their
3goal is to provide a collection of 10,000 of the most used books
3by the year 2001.  This is the first PackDired file of 6 megs,
3the dearchived file requires 16 megs of disc space so you will
3need 22 megs free to dearchive the file.

3This file contains the following books:

3A few of these files will require a machine with over 1meg and
3the CIA World Factbook requires 4megs.  It is best to use

3as it is able to remove the carriage returns while !Edit leaves
3them in as control codes.

3Supergram is an extremely sophisticated multi-word anagram
3program. It uses state-of-the-art AI techniques to find multi-
3word anagrams which make sense and are relevant to the initial
3text. Examples generated by the program include "The meaning of
3Life"="The fine game of nil" and "Acorn Archimedes"="Each a
3modern RISC". An earlier version was reviewed extremely
3favourably by a large section of the Acorn press and  many
3thousands of satisfied users will agree with that assessment.

3goes smaller than the configured spritesize, and only shrinks

3operations during which it cannot grow. This means *COPY,
3principally, since that claims all free memory during its
3operation.

3Memorizer sits in the background, and listens out for
3directories being opened, applications being run and files being
3opened. When it hears one being used, it keeps a record of it.

3can be changed) directories, applications or files again.

1!TIFFinfo
3A desktop application that provides alot of information on any
3TIFF file, it is NOT a TIFF reader and should not be taken to be
3one. In case you don’t know what a TIFF file is, it’s a graphics
3format used by many computers for storing scanned and digitised
3pictures. TIFF files can contain large amounts of data saying,
3for example, where the picture is from, who drew it, how it
3should be displayed etc. Normal Risc OS TIFF readers do not tell
3the user if any of this data is present and so the user could
3miss out on some vital information from the file.

3convenient format.  Thumbnail also provides support for
3producing thumbnails of Draw and Artworks files. Thus it can
3provide a very convenient way of looking at clipart for the
3Draw/Artworks files you want without having to load all the

3All Thumbnail pictures are stored at 16bpp (or 32 bpp) and dithered
